The Idea of Creating a New Type of Wheel Cover Started in 2018...

Our founder and owner, Ed (a.k.a. Mr. RacinDots) has been racing RC cars and trucks for more than 20 years. When he started running in the Mudboss class, Ed decided to create a 3D Printed Mud Plug for the Slash "Solid and Split Spoke" Rim. So, after many design revisions and successful tests, he mounted a set on his Mudboss to test.

How It Began

Ed then gave a couple sets of the first generation RacinDots to three of his close friends to test. After several weeks of hard racing, they did not witness any failures, which led him to print a few more sets.

Meanwhile, other racers also began to ask about the wheel covers. Currently, we produce RacinDots for the Slash's Solid and Split Spoke Rims, DE Speedway, and Associated SR10 Rims, along with other industry leading products. In 2020 RacinDots introduced the first color coded and varying size internal 3mm shock limiters called, RacerSpacers.  When introduced to the public our entire stock of 75 kits were sold out in 20 minutes!  The success of the RacinDots line of products have led to the continuous development of other original products that are used all over the USA, Canada, Guam and Puerto Rico!
